SCORE Atlanta offers training workshops, seminars, and conferences on a range of topics designed to meet the needs of the small business owner.

At present, all workshops are presented at the SCORE ATLANTA downtown office, 233 Peachtree Street, suite 1900. Most workshops are half-day and cost $50.

A suite of 4 basic workshops is designed to provide assistance and guidance to the “would-be-entrepreneur” --- those of you trying to turn a “good idea” into a money-making business. These 4 workshops are given each month --- you can take any combination, in any order --- although they are listed in the recommended sequence.

MARKETING on the INTERNET
The objective of this workshop is to help you implement an Internet strategy that will promote your product or service and help you attract business.

Several additional workshops are more specialized in content and/or are aimed at existing businesses. These may be given bi-monthly or quarterly.

DEVELOPING a SUCCESSFUL IMPORT/EXPORT BUSINESS
This is a 2-session course --- you can take either or both --- presented jointly by SCORE and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of GA State.

THE BASICS of FRANCHISING
Especially in these difficult economic times, franchising should be considered as an alternative to starting up a new business from scratch. Learn the basics --- how franchising works, what you can expect, what you need to do to get going.

BUSINESS LAW 101 --- LEGAL ISSUES for SMALL BUSINESS
